Bio
ADi is an Australian contemporary artist with a career spanning over a decade. He has exhibited widely in solo and group exhibitions in Australia and the United States. His earlier work explores themes of alchemy, mysticism and symbolism through paintings and illustrations.
From surrealism to realism, his more recent work is arresting in its narrative and offers an insight into humanity with a commentary on consumerism.
His new series of oil paintings depicting Australian native animals on the verge of extinction dwelling in an unnatural manmade habitat.
An artist with an emotional empathy for ‘natura’, this new body of work is a conversation encouraging conservation and promoting an ecological consciousness.
‘In our essence we hold the ability to create and dismantle entire universes, often doing so unknowingly, some choose to dismantle, I choose to create.’
